I'd like to sort the files in the Files View by date, and can't find such a simple option (date) among the sorting/columns options.

Can anybody help?

Thank you

If you want an accurate identification of a project and files, then make useful entries as Attributes in the TM and give a meaningful project name to find them later if you have hundreds of them...Btw, attributes in a TM will contain automatically the Creation and Modification Date that you can easily filter in the Translation Memory tab by opening a specific TM.

In Studio 2017 Feb 1, 2017

1) Open your project folder and go to "Files" view (choose in the lower left part of the window)

2) Right-click the tab above the list of the files (where the Name, Words, Status and other column headers are)

3) Choose "Customise", open the full list of available options and choose that you need:
