Hi Phil,

It is not the initials of the person who wrote the report. The patient was hospitalized for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. I then have X-rays, labs and bronchoscopy results. I have seen this in another translation I did and had to put a translator note saying I could not find the meaning of this acronym. Maybe Alison is right and it is in Flemish....

This comes from the a Centre Hospitalier Regional. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the letter head or the patient. At the top of the page there is a stamp "PERSONNEL ET CONFIDENTIEL" and next to it in very small letters "D.I.O."
This is repeated on every page.

Does it not say who issued the report? And what is wrong with the patient?

If this is part of a header, sounds as if DIO may be the doctor or department issuing the report. "Direction interne des opérations"? Or might it be "distribution" something...? Or it could even be Flemish (if from a hospital based in Flanders writing in FR). Impossible to work it out without further info. Suggest you ask the requestor....!
