Let service be effected personally /on all the parties/ and on the defendant / accused

Explanation:
It reads right if the standard wording of 'a las partes' is implied.

BTW, it's to effect and not 'affect' service.

Low confidence level in descending order of 4-3-2 and to highlight my ignorance...

Example sentence(s):
  • E+W: Under the CPR - Civil Proc. Rules - I need to effect personal service. Is this being relaxed due to covid-19? What happens if I cannot serve on the defendant ...

  -> gracias, gràcies and thanks strictly in alaphabetical order, Andy. Yes, I too, thought to serve + 'personal vs. substituted or alternative-means' service would have been an obvious Transatlantic choice.

disagree  philgoddard: Where does it say "on all the parties"?

disagree  AllegroTrans: it doesn't say "on all the parties" even if implied later in the text.

The character must be notified personally

Explanation:
'The character is an accused one who should be notified personally through the notification methods indicated by the Fiscal Federal Authority. The parties involved are requested to designate the legal ways or means for future notifications which should be made personally. Failure to do so could result in a listed notification. Similarly, practical policing and the Regional Authority of Security Services from the Federal Judiciary Council respect the necessary protection and an expected waiting time (duly anticipated time period) and the necessary measures recommended on a national level are presented.'

https://www.thefreedictionary.com/gobbledegook
"Gobbledook is pretentious or unintelligible jargon, such as that used by officials."
One word which is not used normally, but by officials is 'designate' which means 'to specify, to point out, to name, to assign with a character, to select or set aside for a duty, office or purpose.
The notification is sent to an accused person, who is an unusual character, by the nature of being accused (most normal people are not accused and are not usually characters). The type of language used is official. It's an instruction which states that the accused person must be notified.

Example sentence(s):
  • "Si el Federal Fiscal no admite a trámite el asunto, lo notifica al Ministro de la Justicia, señalando entre los puntos anteriores de la decisión."
  • "Where the Federal Prosecutor decides to take no action on a matter he informs the Minister of Justice of that decision."

disagree  AllegroTrans: You are seriously suggesting that "character" is an appropriate word in a court document? Once again, your "explanation" borders on total gobbledegook. None of this is helpful to anybody.
