My aim is to create texts in English that achieve their specific goal - to explain clearly and concisely how porcelain tiles should be laid using the appropriate terminology; to sell the attractions of a new restaurant; to present an analysis of tourism demand models as clearly and professionally as possible etc. In each case, a specific type of register, style and vocabulary will be needed.
