Frame Bursting is a transmission technique that increases the throughput of point-to-point 802.11a, b, or g links by reducing the overhead associated with the wireless transmissions.
This results in the ability to support higher data throughput in mixed and uniform networks.
It can, however, result in unfair allocation of airtime where there are a mix of client devices on the network, of which only some support Frame-Bursting.
