Hungarian term (edited): ponthálózat

Ebben a szövegösszefüggésben a "ponthálózat" elterjedten grid, bár használt a chart és a matrix is:

a diagram made of a rectangle divided into squares, usually called a chart, but sometimes called a matrix or a grid.

Mivel a kijelölt területek feltérképezése és ennek grafikus megjelenítése történik, használt plotter grid alakban is. Ezek a "pontok" angolul (individual) grid units / grid locations, de a "ponthálózat" kifejezésben nem szerepeltetjük a "pont" angol megfelelőjét.

"...a single informant of the oldest living generation is being interviewed at each grid location, so that the survey achieves the broadest possible coverage with the resources available. This practice will result in a valid survey of representative speakers across the breadth of the West and in larger subunits (e.g. individual states or topographical regions), though not for individual grid units. As resources permit, additional informants may be added as secondary speakers from any or all of the locations of the survey.
