Source text - English 1. Overview and requirements
This report summarises key findings from the Master Training Workshop held between 6th – 9th January 2012. The workshop is part of support linked to the specific requirements needed to develop a high quality, contemporary English Language teacher training curriculum that can be delivered independently by the Baku Teacher Training Institute, be recognized by the Ministry of Education in Azerbaijan and become fully integrated as INSETT locally. This is an on-going project funded by the British Council.
Essentially, this means:
• Ensuring the project as a whole is in line with the general Azerbaijan educational reform process in particular the World Bank funded educational reform project.
• Building upon INSETT and ELT work already done by the British Council and other organisations
• Incorporating UK expertise and INSETT models.
Following an initial scoping visit carried out in September 2011, a full new teacher training curriculum was designed which focuses on the needs of ELT in Azerbaijan. This report builds on the full scoping visit report received by the British Council in November 2011.
The first INSET pilot is provisionally due to be delivered from February 2012. A small group of teacher trainers have been recruited by the British Council and the Baku Teacher Training Institute to receive training and support for the first year of teacher training delivery.
The first stage of this was the 3-day Master Trainer workshop to introduce the new curriculum, and to provide the materials and tools needed to equip teacher trainers with a solid foundation from which to deliver the programme.
The initial teacher trainers are both from the Baku Teacher Training Institute and the Azerbaijan Teachers’ Association. Teachers involved from AZETA are using this opportunity to further their own professional development by focusing on those aspects of the curriculum that will help develop and strengthen their own teaching skills and that are of particular interest to them. It is a good idea to spread the programme delivery across a pool of teacher trainers as this helps to manage the workload. It is also important for teachers to find this opportunity rewarding professionally.
The Master Training was well received and feedback from the workshop through evaluation sheets was highly positive.

Bu əsasən o deməkdir ki:
• Layihənin bütövlükdə Azərbaycanın təhsil islahatı prosesinə, xüsusilə Dünya Bankı tərəfindən maliyyələşdirilən təhsil islahatı layihəsinə uyğun olaraq təmin olunması.
• Britaniya Konsulluğu və digər təşkilatlar tərəfindən INSETT (iş yerindən ayrilmamaqla təlim) və ELT (İngilis dilinin tədrisi)-ə bağlı işlərin görülməsi
• Böyük Britaniya təcrübə və INSETT (iş yerindən ayrilmamaqla təlim) modellərinin birləşməsi.
Sentyabr 2011-ci ildə həyata keçirilən ilkin müşahidə səfərindən sonra Azərbaycanda ELT (İngilis dilinin tədrisi) ehtiyaclarına cavab verən tam yeni müəllim hazırlığı kurikulumu nəzərdə tutulmuşdur. Bu hesabat noyabr 2011-ci ildə Britaniya Konsulluğu tərəfindən qəbul edilən tam scoping səfərinin hesabatına əsaslanır.
İlk İNSET pilot müvəqqəti olaraq Fevral 2012dən etibarən təslim ediləcəkdir. İlk il üçün təlim və dəstək almaq məqsədiylə British Council və Bakı Müəllimləri Təkmilləşdirmə İnstitutu tərəfindən kiçik müəllim qrupu işə qəbul edilmişdir.

Ilkin müəllim təlimçilər həm Bakı Müəllimləri Təkmilləşdirmə İnstitutunun, həm də Azərbaycan Müəllimlər Assosiasiyasının əməkdaşlarıdır. (AZETA) Azərbaycan Müəllimlər Assosiasiyası bu imkandan kurikulumun müəllimlərin öz tədris bacarıqlarını inkişaf etdirməyə və möhkəmləndirməyə kömək edəcək aspektlərinə diqqət yönəldərək öz peşəkar inkişafını davam etdirmək məqsədiylə istifadə edir və bu onlar üçün xüsusi maraq doğurur. Bu proqramın müəllim-təlimçilər hovuzu üzrə yayılması üçün yaxşı ideyadır və eyni zamanda iş yükünün idarə olunmasında köməklik göstərir. Bu müəllimlərə iş peşəkarlıqlarının dəyərləndirilməsi (mükafatlandırılması) üçün də zəmin yaradır.
Təkmilləşdirmə Təlimi yaxşı keçdi və seminarda qiymətləndirmə vərəqələri vasitəsilə verilən qiymət müsbət idi.

“Uşaqların Xoşbəxt Gələcəyi 2005-ci ildən fəaliyyət göstərir. 2009-cu ilin mart ayında rəsmi olaraq qeydiyyatdan keçib və “Uşaqların Xoşbəxt Gələcəyi” İctimai Birliyi olub (Qeyd №1109-Q26-2690).
“Uşaqların Xoşbəxt Gələcəyi” İctimai Birliyi uşaqlara sosial məsələlərdə dəstək olmaq, müalicəyə ehtiyacı olan uşaqlara yardım etmək niyyətindədir. Qeydiyyatda 100-ə yaxın himayədə olan məcburi köçkün ailələrinin uşaqları və əlillər (serebral iflic, göz və eşitmə zəifliyi və s.) durur. Birlik yarandığı gündən çalışır ki, müxtəlif proqramlar həyata keçirsin.
2007-2010-cu illər ərzində görülən işlərin təqdimatı:

- Quba rayonu, Zərdabi kəndində yerləşən Yetim və Valideyin himayəsindən məhrum olmuş uşaqlar üçün internata baş çəkmişik. İnternatda 245 kv. m yataq otağına istilik sistemi və hamamlarında altı duş, kombi və generator quraşdırmaq da yardımçı olduq;
- Nizami rayonunda 3 saylı lal-kar internat məktəbinin əsaslı təmirinə və istilik sisteminin qoşulmasına vəsait ayrılıb;
- Bundan əlavə həftədə 1 gün 2 saylı, 3 saylı, 11 saylı, Sarayda yerləşən ruhi xəstəli uşaq evlərinə baş çəkirik; Qeyd edək ki, bu və digər tədbirlərdə Ambudsman, Ailə Qadın və Uşaq Problemlər üzrə komitəsi, YAP, həmçinin bir sıra hüquqi və fiziki şəxslər bizə dəstək olur.

"Happy Future of Children has been operating since 2005. Formally registered in March 2009 and became"Happy Future of Children," Public Union (Note № 1109-Q26-2690).
" Happy Future of Children " Public Union aims to to support children in social issues, to help children in need of treatment. Nearly 100 children of refugee families and people with several disabilities (cerebral palsy, weakness of sight and hearing, etc.) were registered. Since its establishment, the union is trying to implement a variety of programs.
The presentation of the works carried out during the years of 2007-2010:

- In the holidays throughout a year, children from boarding schools are submitted with gifts and presents;
- We have visited the boarding school built for orphans and children deprived of parental care located in the village Zardabi, Guba district. And helped in installation of heating system for 245 m2 (sq. m) bedroom and six showers, six combi boilers and generator set for bathrooms.
- The finance was allocated for substantial repair and heating system installation in boarding school for deaf and dumb # 3 ;at Nizami district.
-In additon to these, one day in a week we visit children’s homes with mental disorder No. 2, No. 3, No. 11 .; We should note that in these and other similar events Ambudsman, State Committee for Family,Women and Children Affairs, the YAP (New Azerbaijan Party), as well as a number of legal entitles and individuals support us.

Bill Reinert, an innovator of Toyota's gasoline-saving Prius, says carmakers aren't moving fast enough to cope with global warming and $100-a-barrel crude. Hybrids, plug-ins and electric-only vehicles must take center stage to help the planet avoid environmental and economic disaster.
Bill Reinert, who helped design Toyota Motor Corp.'s Prius hybrid, hovers in a helicopter 1,000 feet over Fort McMurray, Alberta. On this clear November morning, he's craning for a look at one of the world's largest petroleum reserves where there's not an oil well in sight. Instead, in a 2-mile-wide pit below, trucks head to refineries with loads of sand weighing more than Boeing 747s. Yellow flames shoot skyward as 900-degree-Fahrenheit (482-degree- Celsius) heat liquefies any embedded petroleum. Floating scarecrows and propane-powered cannons do their best to chase migrating birds from lethal wastewater ponds. Eventually, nuclear reactors may surround the crater 270 miles (435 kilometers) northeast of Edmonton, Alberta, delivering the power required to wring oil from sand.
"This is what the end of the age of oil means," says Reinert, 60, who plans the vehicles that Toyota will make in a quarter of a century as national manager for advanced technology at the U.S. sales unit in Torrance, California. "The car-based culture, the business-as- usual of building cars and trucks, is going to change dramatically."
Since Henry Ford introduced the moving assembly line in 1913, the world's automakers have relied on a single source of power--the gasoline-dependent internal combustion engine. Today, the twin threats of $100-a-barrel oil and global warming are convulsing an industry addicted to cheap, abundant petroleum. Auto companies, already hurt in 2007 by the lowest U.S. demand in a decade, are struggling to perfect cars that run on ethanol, diesel, natural gas, hydrogen and household electricity. They're under the gun from California and more than a dozen other states to cut carbon exhaust by 2020 with vehicles that must get 44 miles per gallon (19 kilometers per liter) of gasoline, about double today's average. On Dec. 19, President George W. Bush signed a law that mandates fuel-efficiency of 35 mpg nationwide by that year.

Koleksiyonumda 2000’e yakın Anadolu’yla ve İstanbul’la ilgili fotokart, kartpostal mevcut. Zaman buldukça yapmaya çalışıyorum, çok meşakkatli bir iş. İlk kartpostalımı çalıştığım yerdeki patronum hediye etmişti, onun sayesinde bir giriş yapmış oldum koleksiyona. Bunu takiben müzayedeleri takip ettim, İstanbul’da ve Ankara’da olan büyük müzayede firmalarını takip ettim. Kiminden bir parça, kiminden on parça alıyorsunuz. İstediğiniz her şeyi bulamıyorsunuz, bazen buluyorsunuz “İşte bu!” diyorsunuz ama o zaman da bütçeniz yeterli olmuyor. Koleksiyon yapmak çok sabır gerektiren bir iş. Aile büyüklerimden gelen bir alışkanlık biriktirmek. Onlar da bir şeyler biriktiriyorlardı, onlardan görerek bende de biriktirme tutkusu başladı. Sonrasında çalıştığım yerlerde de patronlarım koleksiyon yapan kişiler olunca hepsi üst üste bindi ve böyle bir hobi çıktı ortaya. Resimlerin ve görselliğin önemli olduğunu düşünüyorum, yaşanan o anı unutmuyorsunuz bu sayede. Her kartın bir hikayesi var ve hepsini hatırlıyorum çünkü aklınızda yer ediniyor. Benim asıl ilgi alanım Osmanlı’daki sosyo-kültürel hayat. Osmanlı döneminde çok uluslu, çok dilli bir yapı söz konusuydu. Gayrimüslimler, müslümanlar, Aleviler hep beraber yaşıyordu. Bu yapıyla ilgili kartpostallar toplamaya çalışıyorum, aynı zamanda İstanbul ve Adalar koleksiyonum var. Kartpostalları da kendi aralarında sınıflandırıyorum
Translation - English I have been a collector for almost twenty years, collecting postcards from the Ottoman period. I have about 2,000 photo cards and postcards of Anatolia and Istanbul in my collection. I try to do this whenever I have time, it is very tedious work. The first postcard was given to me by my boss at work, thanks to him I got into the collection. After that, I followed the auctions, the big auction companies in Istanbul and Ankara. You buy one piece from some, ten from others. You can't find everything you want, and when you find it, you say, "That's it!" but then your budget fails short. Collecting is a job that requires a lot of patience. It's a habit I picked up from older members of my family. They collected things, too, and my passion for collecting started with them. Later, my bosses in places where I worked were collectors, everything overlapped and this hobby emerged. I think images and visuals are very important so you don't forget the moment you are living in. Every postcard has a story and I remember them all because they stick in my mind. My main area of interest is the socio-cultural life of the Ottoman Empire. During the Ottoman Empire there was a multinational and multilingual structure. Non-Muslims, Muslims and Alevis lived together. I try to collect postcards about this structure, I also have a collection about Istanbul and the Islands. I also classify postcards among themselves.
