Bio

Since I was a kid, I am passionate about languages and writing. This is why I studied a Master degree in translation NL-ES-FR in my Belgium, my home country, and a Master in Journalism in Madrid. After 20 years of professional experience in travel assistance, shipping, international cooperation and publishing in Europe, Africa and North America, I decided to become a full-time free-lance language expert.

 

Considering my professional background as journalist and editor for several Spanish-language news outlets, and after living all together more than 20 years in Spain and Mexico, I can safely state I am bilingual Dutch-Spanish. 

 

Since 2015, I have worked on hundreds of translation projects  NL/FR/EN – ES and FR/ES - NL for the leading Belgian translation agency Oneliner. Most projects were related to legal, finances, industry (automotive, logistics), social sciences, public policies, leisure, tourism and marketing. Stoquart and Entre les lignes joined my Belgian client portfolio in 2022.

 

Since June 2021, I am working as an EN-NL translator, reviser and editor  in marketing, SEO and e-commerce projects for the UK based LSP Toppan Digital Language. Other British clients I regularly work for as translator and proofreader are Lingvo House and Travod. 


In November 2020, I started writing SEO copy for the Canadian content provider Key Content, providing SEO content in Dutch for the .nl and .be e-commerce sites of several global athleisure brands and retailers.
