Hi all -

In translating a legal document concerning corporate bankruptcy and what ultimately happens to the assets of the bankrupt company, I am not sure how to best translate this phrase, referring to a previous opinion rendered in a related case:

opinione peraltro non pacifica

Here is the context:
Se fallisce il licenziatario, il curatore può scegliere di proseguire il contratto o recedere pagando un equo compenso (FORMIGGINI, 1117: opinione peraltro non pacifica).
