Are we on? Feb 22, 2006

Thank you Cecilia for proposing this powwow!
Every few days I log in to see if we have a date and we're getting nearer all the time. I am surprised there are so few translators in the Pittsburgh area - I have about a 70 mile drive if that can inspire anyone to make the trip.

The web is a wonderful event for translators, but I still feel physically isolated, I hardly ever come face to face with other translators, it would certainly be nice to meet and exchange news, ideas and experiences.
What does everyone else hope to get from this possible powwow?

TIME? Feb 22, 2006

Hi Cecilia and Hilary,
Thank you for the emails. What time did you have in mind? I live about 1 hour away from Pittsburgh. The earliest I can leave is 9 (when the kids are all on the bus) and the latest I have to be back is 4. Or did you have the evening in mind?

Squirrel Hill Feb 22, 2006

How about Aladdin's Eatery in Squirrel Hill? It is right in the center of Squirrel Hill (5878 Forbes Ave, 412-421-5100). They have tasty, fresh food and are rather inexpensive.
