Hello,

    my name is George and I am new to Proz.com, but I have years of experience in my business. I am a professional translator from/to Czech/English as I am Czech born citizen, but I'm currently living in the United Kingdom (the last 10 years).

    Because I always like to learn new things, I absolved a college in the England, where I achieved a Cambridge certificate for the English language. But my primary studies were in other objects. I studied 5 years in the Czech Republic - information technologies and specialization in electronics and communication engineering. I do understand both HW and SW, but lately, I'm using computers as a tool to work more with/on an SW. There is a plenty of different subjects I could handle, from any operation systems(prefer Linux and Win), network securities to office SW(writers, spreadsheets, presentation programs), from coding to web development(Python, Java, scripting[SQL, shell], HTML/CSS) through a designs in graphical SW to video makers(Adobe products, open source SW as GIMP, etc.).

    I could name a lot of things and the list will be so long, which is counterproductive to let you read it all because at the moment I'm offering to you my knowledge in the especially in a  TRANSLATIONS and WEB DESIGNS. 

    Why am I writing all these things?

Well, there could be some projects which will require more than one knowledge and I am able to do it at once. As for example, translation of your website.
