Spanish to English: La aterosclerosis no es indomable General field: Science Detailed field: Medical (general)
Translation - English Recent studies show that the damage produced by this ailment can be prevented and reverted.
“The atherosclerotic damage can be reverted”. This statement belongs to Dr. Osvaldo Brusco, who attended on behalf of the Consejo Argentino para la Prevención de la Aterosclerosis, [CARPAT for its initials in Spanish], to the second International Congress on Preventive Cardiology that held in Washington.
“Several studies demonstrate that clogged arteries can be unclogged, that is to say that the atheromatous plaque can be reverted by two methods: with a proper diet and, if necessary, medication. The meeting’s attendees, from more than 45 countries, were able to see the arteriogram that documents this encouraging fact”, the nutritionist says. He explains that in the American Continent, our country is in the lead for the mortality rate of heart attack and the United States takes second place.
It is known that the three prevailing risk factors of this illness —which affects especially men— are hypercholesterolemia, high blood pressure and nicotine addiction, and are followed in minor cases, by obesity, the lack of exercise, diabetes and an excess of emotional stress.

Source text - English How to decide whether people warm to you or not? Are enjoying themselves or are bored? Are pleasant or nasty? Are responding irresistibly to your sexual power or are just being friendly? ... Such questions as these are fundamental to organising our lives properly and not making appalling misjudgements.
We tend to think that what people say is of most significance: but it is only in telephone conversations that words are the only, or even the best, clue. Most of the time we have whole people to watch and (much in the same way of our ape forefathers) the appearance, posture, expressions and twitches of human beings tell you quite a lot of what's going on in their heads.
