Wie wird Bestho aufgetragen?
Bestho ist ein einfacher dreistufiger Vorgang zur vollständigen Behandlung von Betonböden und Ausläufen im Gehege. Mit jeder Lieferung versenden wir vollständige und leicht verständliche Anweisungen.
Maßnahme 1: Reinigen
Die erste Maßnahme ist eine gründliche Reinigung und Desinfektion des Betons. Das kann mit einem Gartenschlauch und einem beliebigen Reinigungs- oder Desinfektionsmittel geschehen. Nur muss nachher der Beton gründlich abgespült werden. Man braucht nicht zu warten, bis der Beton trocken ist, bevor man die Maßnahme 2 ergreift.
Eine Probe auf dem Zwingerboden ist wichtig, damit man weiß, dass Bestho all in one voll zur Wirkung kommen kann.
Zwecks Erprobung schüttet man etwas Wasser aus, um festzustellen, ob es einsickert. Wenn es einsickert, dann sickert auch Bestho all in one ein, so dass Ihnen alle Vorteile sicher sind. Wenn frühere Wasserdichtmittel oder Farbe das Eindringen von Wasser verhindern, müssen die alten Stoffe entfernt werden, bevor Bestho all in one aufgetragen wird. Maßnahme 2: Mit Bestho all in one tief abdichten
Danach ist es Zeit, den Beton zu stabilisieren und die inneren mikroskopischen Poren des Betons mit Bestho all in one zu füllen. Das Mittel kann aufgepinselt, aufgerollt oder aufgespritzt oder auch aufgegossen und verteilt werden. Bestho all in one ist dauerhaft. Es braucht nicht noch einmal auf die Betonplatte aufgetragen zu werden. Wenn es mit dem Alkali im Beton in Berührung kommt, bildet sich ein Silikagel, das über die Haarröhrchenwirkung tief in den Beton eindringt. Wenn dieses Gel trocknet, wird es im Beton hart wie Glas.
Maßnahme 3: Oberfläche abdichten
Dies ist die letzte Maßnahme im Gehege. Warten Sie, bis der Beton richtig trocken ist. (Lassen Sie ihn wenigstens 24 Stunden oder in feuchtem Klima länger trocknen).

Do you know that the concrete floors in your enclosures are perfect breeding grounds for fungus and mold? Concrete is a porous material that acts just like a sponge. When liquids are spilled, they “creep” deep into the concrete. These damp pores are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, fungus and mold. How do you prevent dangerous bacteria from growing in the enclosure?

Even your animals do not want to lie on cold, damp concrete anymore

In zoo enclosures, oftentimes the paint flakes and the coverings come loose

How is bestho applied?
Bestho is an easy, 3-step procedure for the complete treatment of concrete floors and turn-outs in the enclosures. Every delivery includes complete and easy to understand instructions.
Step 1: Cleaning
The first step is an extensive cleaning and disinfecting of the concrete. This can be done with a garden hose and a usual cleaning or disinfecting agent. Afterward, the concrete has to be rinsed thoroughly. You do not have to wait for the concrete to be dry, before proceeding to step 2.
A test on the kennel floor is important, so you know that bestho all-in-one can have its full effect.
To test, spill some water to determine whether it sinks in. If it does sink in, then bestho all-in-one will also sink in and therefore all the advantages are secured. If previous sealants or paint prevent the water from penetrating, all those substances must be removed before applying bestho all-in-one. Please contact us for more information on how to remove the old coverings/sealants.
Step 2: Seal internally with bestho all-in-one
Then it is time to stabilize the concrete and to fill the internal microscopic pores of the concrete with bestho all-in-one. The product can be brushed on, rolled on or sprayed on, or even poured on and distributed. Bestho all-in-one is long lasting. It does not need to be re-applied to the concrete surface. When it comes into contact with the alkali in the concrete, it builds a silicon gel that penetrates deep into the concrete through hairline effects. When this gel dries, it becomes as hard as glass within the concrete.
Step 3: Seal the surface
This is the last step in the enclosure. Wait until the concrete is completely dry. (Let it dry for at least 24 hours, or, in damp climates, even longer)
It is now time to seal the surface layer of the concrete with bestho PLUS. The application is the same as with bestho all-in-one. As soon as the application is dry, your animals are protected against bacteria, fungus and mold, and the enclosure is much easier to clean.
Bestho all-in-one (Step 2) is best applied on damp concrete.
