When I work I do not move; when I am on the move, I do not work!

I ALSO use mobile internet, via my smartphone. But only to check my emails or reply a job proposal.

I have a usb modem to be able to stay connected in case of any power cuts.
Although power cuts are not really frequent and usually don't last long (usu. just a few minutes but sometimes up to a couple of hours), it can be a real nuisance if you're working with a full workload and/or tight deadlines. And of course, you never know how long a power cut will last.

Actually, I purhased a Greek usb modem when we were having problems with the telephone line. The cabling was nearly 30 years old and had apparently drowned because of all the rain we've had in the past couple of months. ;-(

Before that, I used a Dutch usb modem that I bought when I had to be in the Netherlands for a few weeks and was trying to continue working on my laptop while being there. But because of the roaming costs involved I thought I would be a good idea to get myself a local one.

Unfortunately, the usb modem is very slow, so it's a good thing I'm only using it in emergency situations.

Though I've originally voted "No, but would like to".

I use my BlackBerry, which has proved to be a great work tool! As regards mobile internet, for my notebook, I have the device but rarely use it. If I am not at the office, and I need to work, then, I rather go to a wi-fi access zone (café, library, etc)
