Pure inertia Aug 18, 2012

I still use IE because it's the one I started out with and I'm used to the interface (and all its hassles, bugs and pointless, unasked-for tweakings). I also have Firefox (techy friends told me it was "better") but I can't quite get used to the interface, so only use it when necessary.

I don't fancy Chrome much, as I'm wary of apps that do things unasked, which I think it does.

FireFox, Chrome Aug 18, 2012

I generally use FireFox but sometimes also Chrome (seems lighter and quicker, even if very very essential).

Don't like and never use IE.

In my case, it does. I have clients, wonderful ones btw, with on-line programs/pages not supported by other browsers.

Other: Safari AND Firefox Aug 18, 2012

I always have both open. I favor one for some things, the other for others.
But... I think Ty is right. So why am I even bothering to answer....

Yep, it does matter because with other browsers, there are more problems. And another reason, is to get away from the Microsoft fist of power!!

I just switched yesterday from IE and suddenly my web-based e-mail began to behave properly.

Chrome Aug 18, 2012

It has a spell check that can be set for any language, and it even inserts special characters. You can also link it to any dictionary English, Spanish, etc., so that every time you highlight a word within the browser a definition pops up.

Tools like that are the reason I choose chrome, it really makes my work go more smoothly.
