Trados Error: Memory could not be read Thread poster: Jochen Hilkert

Dear colleagues!
Trados Studio crashes with this Error message:
The instruction at ... referenced memory at ... The memory could not be read.
Does anyone have experience with this Error?

Hello,
which version of Trados do you have?
Assuming you are working in Trados 2017, do you get that error in the editor pane or in the TM pane?
If you get it in the editor pane, are you able to open the TM in the TM pane?

I translated a project without any problem with Trados 2019 but forgot to insert a term on the TB provided by the client. When I tried to open the project again, both in Trados SDL 2019 and 2021, the TB didn´t open anymore, and there was an error message on the editor pane saying that my Internet connection failed, and I should try again.
My Internet works fine, and the TB works on other projects. Also, the Termbase pane shows the TB in question, but it won´t open on the editor anymore.
Any thoughts?

I'm afraid I don't have your version of Trados yet.
I guess you can wait here for somebody else answer or log a support ticket on RWS (former SDL) website at https://www.trados.com/support/ .
