I'm really confused about the translation of Arabic in CAT tools. The formatting is very messy and sentences do not make any sense. What's worse, I have to work on a PDF document, which makes it messier. Is there any way of improving the formatting quality? Thanks so much.

You need to change the pdf into Word format and then change the text from right to left. By default in Ms Office it is from left to right . Everything will be correct once you change it from left to rightl

Unfortunately, recognition software still produces poor outputs for PDF files written in Arabic, regardless of the software used. However, you should have the Arabic text in a Word format. To do so, there are two ways:
- The first is to type the entire Arabic text in a Word file, then upload it into your CAT tool.
- The second is as follows:
1- Upload the Arabic-written PDF file to Google Drive.
2- From Google Drive, open the file with Google Docs. ... See more
