Can't find adyace in the DRAE. Any ideas on how to translate it here?

from what I can tell "adyacer" is a combination of the verb "yacer" (to lie) with the Latin prefix "ad" meaning "close to", giving the meaning of "to lie close to" - but I stand to be corrected

agree DLyons : The verb is related to "adyacencia" but "adjacent to" doesn't really work. So I'd go with "parallels".
