To get away from the languages thing for a while: Gabriela, setting up a website implies that you're trying to change your business in some way. You could brainstorm words around the sector you're targeting. If you want to do more law, then find something that uses the Spanish/Polish words for law. Does anyone have leyprawo.com? (Don't shoot me if that's wrong, I used GT!) Hi Phil, Thank you for giving me this idea. I see what you mean, I guess it could work if I chose the right combination of words. Although I guess it could limit my services in that sense. Btw, GT got it right | | | Gabriela Miklińska Meksyk Local time: 22:35 Członek ProZ.com od 2010 angielski > polski + ... Hi Gabriela, I recently took my own website live. I read everything out there about SEO, getting indexed properly, having what you do as part of your web address, blahblahblah and like you, found out everything had already been taken. So, what to do? My main audience is international, and asking anyone other than a Portuguese or maybe Spanish speaking person to pronounce Monica Veiga Freitas is just wrong... LOL Therefore I went with my initials and voilá - www.mvftranslations.com was born. Of course it was available and no, I didn't reinvent the wheel nor did I go where no man has gone before, but I did put what I do in the name and I'm marketing myself, after all I AM the brand, it's just me, MVF. Maybe it'll work for you. Good luck/Boa sorte. ▲ Collapse | | | JohnMcDove USA Local time: 21:35 angielski > hiszpański 2polished4words | Mar 7, 2014 |

Also the idea of using your initials to name your business works well in your case. I am still polishing the content of my website but right now I am just focusing on coming up with a name. It's hard but I am getting there. Thank you very much for sharing! Obrigada! | | | Gabriela Miklińska Meksyk Local time: 22:35 Członek ProZ.com od 2010 angielski > polski + ... NOWY TEMAT

I like the idea of playing with the meaning of the word polish and also the slogan. If I get to use it, I will owe you a tequila bottle Thank you for taking time to reply and for your advice, I really appreciate it! Now I just need to chew everything over, I have received lots of great suggestions since posting my question. Now I just need to chew everything over, I have received lots of great suggestions since posting my question. Thanks everyone for your input! Ha-ha! Believe it or not, I never tasted tequila... (It has been more than 25 years without drinking any alcohol...) But at any rate, that gave me another idea for you: Tequila-Nalewka-Caipirinha, = TeNaCatranslations or CaTeNatrans or Vodka-Vino-Sangría... – VodViSanTrans... SanViVodTrans... ViSanVodtrans... Probably it’s not the best to associate alcohol with translations (not that some great writers, such as Edgar A. Poe...) But the point I would like to make is that you can get inspiration from anything you do... You can even look at your desk, see an object that you always see there and make a name out of it... i.e., staplertranslations = alerttranslations, headphonestranslations = hphtranslations, scotchtranslations = topnotchtranslations, = tNotchtrans = TNTrans... or HDtranslations (ie., High Definition translations, promoting your accuracy in your translations) PolishedIberian... I also like the idea of playing with “polished”. I hope you come up with a simple and nice name... and if I was able to help you or inspire you in any way, I’ll be glad... and you will only owe me a simple “Thank you!” Hah! “gratefultranslations”...
