I tried to change the target language font under Font Adaption > Custom Language Fonts, but was not able to apply and save the change. Each time I made the adjustment and opened a file, nothing changed. It still shows the defaut lanaguage in the box directly under Custom Language Fonts. Any suggestions on how to apply/save the change?

Make sure that 'Show all tags but do not show formatting...' is selected in Options-Editor-Formatting display style. This will prevent showing the font used in your source file and enable the font you set in the Font Adaptation pane. Probably you may need to re-import the file into your project after you apply the changes.
