Special characters in Wordfast TM - Romanian support?

It seems that the TM in Wordfast does not save the special characters for Romanian. It replaces them by question marks/similar non-special characters in the .txt file. Does anyone know whether it is a known bug of Wordfast or there is a fix to that?

Have you tried to save the TM as Unicode file?

Thank you both for your advices. It seems that the special characters can not be saved in text format - I will try Unicode, maybe it will work.

My regional and language settings in Windows were causing the problem.
