German term

Hinterlaufblech

German to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering Sliding doors - Vault/Strongroom
This is in regards to sliding doors for a strongroom.

Explaination what a Hinterlaufblech is:

I hope this helps.

neutral philgoddard : It's nice of you to agree with my answer, but I don't think this is correct. It's called "Hinterlaufblech" because the door runs BEHIND it.

Since Hinterlaufblech gets no hits, you can call it what you like. Blech means a metal panel, so how about this? You would obviously leave out "seitlich".
