Bio
Born and bred in a town in the border between Brazil and Uruguay and having studied English since age 6, languages have always been an essential part of my life. Although I enjoyed translating short stories and videogame dialogue as a child, it was not until I was 15 that I started actively dedicating myself to translation. In 2011, I started a Youtube channel called "InútilErudita", where I uploaded videos of American webseries with Portuguese subtitles. Two years later, I was accepted into the English/Portuguese programme at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPEL), where I also volunteered at the university translation lab and took part in research projects.

After two years of undergraduate studies, I withdrew from university and moved to Dublin, Ireland. I spent my first 6 months in Dublin studying English, and 6 months working as an intern at Word Perfect Translations.

As of now, I am back in Brazil and working as a freelance translator in the following language pairs: English>Portuguese (BR), Portuguese>English and Spanish>English.
