Una jugada en defensa del empleo
Pese a la resistencia del oficialismo, el grueso de la oposición firmó un pedido de session para mañana. El quorum dependerá de la actitud que tomen los diputados del massismo, que presentará un dictamen proprio con cambios al proyecto aprobado por el Senado.

El grueso de la oposición parlamentaria en Diputados buscará mañana convertir en ley la la emergencia ocupacional que que ya tiene media sanction del Senado, aunque el Frente Renovador podría hacer fracasar la convocatoria porque no aportará el quorum si no se hacen las modificaciones que reclama. Otros monobloques firmaron el pedido de session especial para este jueves al mediodía para tratar la iniciativa que prohibe los despidos sin causa por 180 días en la Administración Pública Nacional y el ámbito privado y prevé doble indemnización. Esas fuerzas políticas firmarían hoy un dictamen de la mayoría en el plenario de comisiones el que concurrirá el ministro de trabajo. El massismo, en cambio, presentará un dictamen propio donde introduciría cambios al proyecto del Senado, el que evitaría la sanción de la ley, como pretende el oficialismo de Cambiemos. Habrá que ver si Sergio Massa logra contener el sector sindical de su bancada, que fue el que ayudó a motorizar el reclamo de las cinco centrales obreras para ponerle freno a los despidos, y que ahora, alineados con su bloque, colaborarían en hacer naufragar.

Those attending the session will depend on the attitude adopted by the politicians concerning the general code of conduct. They will present their own legal opinion or report with changes in the plans approved by the Senate.

The following day MPs from the majority of the parliamentary opposition would seek to convert the occupational emergency into law. It already has a half-way sanction from the Senate, even though the 'Reformation Front' could make the summons fail because it will not bring the number that must attend (quorum) in order to validate the meeting if they do not make the modifications reclaimed. Other independent groups signed the request of special session for that Thursday at midday to address the initiative which prohibits unfair dismissals for 180 days in the National Public Administration and the private sector, with foreseen double indemnity. That day those political efforts would have signed a legal report from the majority of the plenary of commissions which the Minister of Employment will bring together. There, the general code of conduct, on the other hand, would present its own legal report which would introduce changes to the Senate's plans. These would avoid the sanction of law, which the government authorities of 'Let's Change' would seek to do. It will be necessary to see if Sergio Massa manages to contain the syndicate sector of his remit, which was the one that helped to encourage the five central workers' claim to put a stop to those dismissals and that now, aligned in their block, they would collaborate to cause an overturn.

Source text - French Two years ago I went walking to several places outside the town where I lived. I'd lost my pet dog three weeks before I began to walk to the other places. Near the town of Hamilton, not far from where I lived in Rutherglen, I found a kennel beside a forest. I returned there a few weeks later. I took a train to Hamilton, and then I found the Mausoleum monument in Strathclyde Park, from where I saw signs leading to Chatlerault. I followed a long footpath to the Avon Bridge Kennel. A gate was opened as I stepped inside a garden above a forest park where there was a man, owner of an old house, with kennels where he kept dogs and cats. There, two youngsters and a woman were helping the owner to care for the animals. I explained that I'd lost my pet dog, and by sheer coincidence, four puppies had been born from a mother west highland terrier that same morning. I said that I wished to buy a female puppy like the one I'd lost and then the owner gave me a form to fill in with my details.
When I returned there shortly afterwards I paid a small deposit to reserve the purchase of a puppy, who, a few weeks later, could be taken from her mother. Two months later I returned there with enough money to buy the puppy like the one I'd lost. She was the last one remaining from her family in that part of the kennel. At the kennels there were two other families of dogs with puppies and two cats. The other dogs were due to be sold to make the owner's income, as well as the few individuals who rented kennel spaces where their dogs could be cared for during their holidays.
Three months later my little puppy (Lucie) had grown to be the size of a small dog or a very large cat, and she could travel locally by train with me. I returned to the kennel with her, and told the owner that I'd like to find another one like her, who would be her companion and save her from being alone a lot of the time. That wasn't possible at the time without another large payment. I explained that I was soon going to move to Dumbarton, north of Glasgow. At the beginning of the next year, I moved to Dumbarton with Lucie, the small dog who'd grown once again.
Six months later I called the kennel's owner, without a response. Shortly afterwards I visited the kennel's owner, to find him desolately abandoned, without a dog or a cat. He explained that a group had taken all of his animals, while all that was left remaining of a farm was a chicken by a cage in the distance.
Translation - English Il ya a deux années je me promenais beaucoup parmi des endroits dehors de la ville où j'habitais. Trois semaines avant que j'avais commencé à me promener à quelques endroits, j'avais perdu ma chienne. Près d'une petite ville nommée Hamilton, pas loin de la ville de Rutherglen (près de Glasgow) où j'habitais, j'ai trouvé un chenil à côté d'une forêt. J'y suis retournée quelques semaines après. J'ai pris un train locale jusqu'à Hamilton, où j'ai trouvé le monument qui s'appelle Mausoleum. Là-bas j'ai vu des signes qui mènent à Chatlerhault. J'ai suivi un chemin à côté d'une rivière jusqu'à ce que je suis arrivée au chenil au Pont d'Avon. Des portes ont été ouvertes, puis je suis entrée dans un jardin en haut d'une forêt où il y avait un homme, patron d'une maison vieille avec des chenils où il gardait des chiens et des chats. Là-bas Il y avait deux jeunes et une femme qui lui aidait à soigner les animaux. Je lui ai expliqué que j'avais perdu ma chienne. D'une coïncidence quatre petits chiens venaient de naitre d'une chienne-mère ce matin-là.

Je l'ai fait avant d'y retourner oeu après lorsque je lui ai laissé un petit dépôt pour réserver l'achât d'une petite chienne-chate, qui, quelques semaines après, pourrait être prise de sa mère. Deux mois plus tard, j'y suis retournée avec assez d'argent pour m'acheter la petite chienne-chate comme l'une que j'avais perdue. Elle était la dernière de sa famille à être vendue dans ce côté-là du chenil. Aux chenils il y avait deux autres familles de chiens avec des petits chiens, et deux chats aussi habitaient à peu près. Les autres chiens étaient à vendre pour faire le salaire du propriétaire, et aussi, des individus qui allaient en vacances pouvaient louer un petit chenil où ils pouvaient laisser leur chien ou leur chat pour y être soigné pendant leurs vacances.
Trois mois étant passés, ma petite chienne (Lucie) avait crû à la taille d'une petite chienne ou d'une chate très grande, et elle pouvait voyager dans le train locale avec moi. Je suis retournée au chenil avec elle, et au patron je lui ai dit que je voulais trouver une autre petite chienne comme elle, qui pourrait être son amie car elle n'aime pas être seule pendant beaucoup du temps. Le patron a dit que ça ne se pouvait pas sans beaucoup d'argent encore une fois. J'ai expliqué que bientôt j'allais déménager à Dumbarton au nord de Glasgow. Au début de l'année prochaine j'ai déménagé avec Lucie, la petite chienne qui avait crû encore une fois.
Six mois plus tard j'ai appelé le patron du chenil sans réponse. Peu après j'ai fait visite au patron du chenil pour le trouver désolé et abandonné sans chien et sans chat. Il a expliqué qu'un groupe avait pris tous ses animaux, tandis que tout ce qui en restait d'une ferme était un poulet à peu près d'un cage au lointain.

In 2014 a referendum took place in Scotland. A notably high turnout of participants at the election revealed approximately 51% of voters to be in favour of the Union (Scotland within Great Britain or the United Kingdom), whilst 49% of the participants voted for more Scottish independence, or greater autonomy.
In 2016 a UK referendum took place. Approximately 53 % of the electorate voted in favour of a British exit from Europe, the remaining 47% of participants having voted in favour of Britain's place within the European Union, remaining as it was. After the election and all of his efforts in favour of the country's place within Europe, the prime minister of the time resigned. A general election took place in which the Conservatives won an overall majority, while the Scottish National Party gained most seats in Scotland. Beforehand, the Labour Party had retained most seats in Scotland. Mrs May, who took over the prime minister's role immediately began to prioritise the votes of those in favour of the country's withdrawal from the European Union.
In Westminster, members of parliament had voted (on occasions) with regards to the prospects of ending the country's membership in the European Union with no agreed business deals. Confusion amidst faltering disagreements, whilst several members of parliament abstained from voting, postponed the British withdrawal from the European Union. Some members of parliament rejected the prime minister's proposal along with the prospect of leaving the European Union without an agreed business deal, bringing the possibility of a 'constitutional crisis'. A former minister advised members of parliament to continue voting against proposals, regardless of external pressures imposed to accept a deal or a proposal. The prime minister (Mrs May) resigned in October 2019 and then a few weeks later the role of prime minister was replaced. Consequently, a general election took place in December 2019, in which the Conservatives won another overall majority of seats, while the Scottish National Party gained most of the seats in Scotland. At the end of January 2020, the country's previous membership within the European Union ended without further agreements. Imports and exports as well as economic migration are key issues for the future.
Meanwhile, the first minister of Scotland has proposed a second referendum on Scotland's place within Great Britain (United Kingdom). I understand that Scotland may be able to return to the European Union as an independent country following a waiting time of four years (according to Article 50 of the European Charter). A second referendum in Scotland should make us reconsider the possibility of more separation within Great Britain (United Kingdom), as it should decide if the electorate in Scotland really wishes to be further apart from England, Wales and Ireland in the first instance. Without further separation between Scotland and the rest of the country there should be better prospects as a member state of the European Union in the future.

I'm seeking employment at present and I find working from home to be the most convenient possibility. I walk and look after my pet dog. I see my family very occasionally and at present I visit my mother about once every ten days. In my spare time I play music (piano or guitar) and I'm hoping to publish a second draft of a short novel of small pieces of personal writing in the future.
On the Proz network I take part in answering Kudoz questions on a variety of topic areas including politics, employment management and industrial relations, economics, law case studies and occasional other topics of interest including geography and the environment. Most of the language combinations are between Spanish and English, while less samples are with French and English. I can work in Italian and I'm planning to learn some German for translation purposes in the future.
On my Proz account I've so far submitted two full page translation samples. The first one is from a Spanish and Argentinian daily newspaper on a governmental issue connected with industrial relations. The other is a short narration on a local occurrence written in French and English. I intend to add another translation page sample on politics in the United Kingdom. I also intend to write another article on the politics and theory of some industrial working relations and practices as a worldwide field of interest.
