Sep 26 '04 diana bb: Dear Marius,
alas, alas... This correspondence after a powwow cannot be avoided if you signed up for the gathering. But please don't worry - eventually it will slow down and then stop. Until the next powwow. Just bear and grin, if you can. :-)
Very best regards,
Diana |
Sep 24 '04 MariusV: DEAR PEOPLE
Dear Everyone,
Do you think it is possible to arrange somehow your personal correspondence not sending email copies to everyone??? I am really not interested to follow someone's conversation with copies in my email.
Best regards

Sep 24 '04 Uldis Liepkalns: Dear Ernestas,
Seismologs predict next earthquake in a 100 years, so nothing should impede your coming :) |
Sep 22 '04 Ernestas Lomsargis: Seismically active zone?
Uldis and Diana, I just remembered, what you wrote about earthquakes (please read above). As you know (or even felt), your jokes came true yesterday. Please make no more jokes like these before powwow in Riga. :-))) |
Sep 21 '04 Mindaugas Boruta: PHOTOS
If anyone is interested, some photos form this powwow are at
http://photos.yahoo.com/minbor
they dont post full size pictures so email me ([email protected]) and ill send them 2 u |
Sep 20 '04 Stanislaw Kulikowski: Let's do it the proper way,
then |
Sep 20 '04 Uldis Liepkalns: Lets transfer further discussions
to the upcoming Pow-Wow site-
http://www.proz.com/powwow/577
OK?
It's just that Latvian members will find hard to navigate to the site of Pow-Wow already finished :)
|
Sep 20 '04 Stanislaw Kulikowski: Holly cow! We are growing strong!
My girlfried wants to come too - she's never been to Riga. |
Sep 20 '04 Uldis Liepkalns: The place is suggested,
but not decided yet. I think I know one new inexpensive hotel walking distance (15 min. walk)from centre, I guess the Pow-Wow too can be held there. I will drive there in nearest days and find out the details, prices, etc. Then we should invite Estonians too, I guess? I can invite the few I know, if any of you knows some, please inform them. It starts to seem we can make it really Baltic Pow-Wow...
As to driving- yes, not more than 4 hours from Vilnius. That is counting 140 km per hour from Vilius to Panevezjas an a cofee break somewhere in between... :) |
Sep 20 '04 diana bb: Hmmmm.....
Maybe really? |
Sep 20 '04 Stanislaw Kulikowski: Sounds good to me!
Pack you stuff, everybody! who's coming? I'll be 1150 km away from home! |
Sep 20 '04 diana bb: Its nice to be out you mind!
Three hours driving, I guess. Maybe a fraction more. |
Sep 20 '04 Stanislaw Kulikowski: I might be out of my mind!
And it is a kind of early to plan the double-the-distance trip but this sounds really tempting. If more people would be willing we could chip in for gas and not only have an interesting meeting but also a nice trip! How long does it take to get there? |
Sep 20 '04 Uldis Liepkalns: Pow-Wow in Riga
http://www.proz.com/powwow/577
And Riga is 300 km from Vilnius and the same from Tallinn (+ - 10 km).
Uldis |
Sep 20 '04 diana bb: Me too!
who is renting a bus? |
Sep 20 '04 Džiuginta Spalbar: One more meeting!
So when is the powwow in Riga? I will gladly come to see you all! :) |
Sep 20 '04 diana bb: Hey, Uldis!
That's a good idea! |
Sep 20 '04 Stanislaw Kulikowski: I'll rent a boat!
How far is from Vilnius to Riga? |
Sep 20 '04 Uldis Liepkalns: Dear Stanislaw,
there will be one in Riga soon. If you'd rent a bus, and on your way to Riga collect all the Lithuanins, I'm sure it would be biggest Pow-Wow Baltics has ever seen :)))
Uldis |
Sep 20 '04 Stanislaw Kulikowski: I was supposed to be there!
I don't want to wait another year for another powwow in Vilnius! It has to be earlier even if I have to organize it remotely myself! Pleeeeeeez. |
