Currently it is not possible to use LibreOffice Writer as a preview tool for multiple documents: it only works for one document per project.

So I'm investigating a way to merge several LO documents to one big document. And if this is possible without loss of any information (headers, footers, page orientation etc.), then I will investigate whether the merging can be automated:
