Точно не машинный перевод, тут явно человек приложил руку:

Чтобы отключить питание, нужно вдавить конец переключателя, помеченный «0».

А мы тут спорили - кнопку, на кнопку...

Видимо, от "press"
А потом для выключения этот конец нужно отдавить или передавить?
