How can I block a sender who keeps sending Bugbear?

This morning, every two minutes or so, I get the following message from MailerDaemon:


A message sent from [my sister-in-law] to

[and several others, always the same people]
contained a virus and has not been delivered.
stream: Worm.BugBear.B FOUND


I went to Tools, and Block Sender, and regretfully selected her e-mail address (she does send good jokes...:-) )

But even though I performed this step, my mailbox is still fl... See more

I went to Tools, and Block Sender, and regretfully selected her e-mail address (she does send good jokes...:-) )

But even though I performed this step, my mailbox is still flooded with these messages.

I sent her & her hub a note about it, but they work night-shift and are likely unaware of what havoc their computer is wreaking in our little group... till they arise, in like 5 or 6 hours.

any ideas?

Blocking a sender Jun 16, 2004

The messages are probably already blocked (filtered) by an antivirus program on your mail server, so you don't have to block the person's e-mail address in your e-mail program (Outlook Express?). If you want to get rid of the warning messages, you should block the Mailer Daemon's address instead (temporarily!) or define a filter in Outlook Express to move these messages to a special folder, for example.

Hi Nancy, I'm on the list too... I blocked the Mailerdaemon by putting it in the "courrier indésirable" and told Outlook to put it right into the "corbeille".

I received over 50 e-mails but nothing since 9:30.

Sending these messages to a separate folder will rectify the problem for now, till Cindy wakes up from her slumber... and discovers her disaster.
