Hello,

I was wondering if any of you had had this problem and if so, how did you solve it?

When I press ctrl+F to search the window pops behind and I can see it in the taskbar. However I can't select it, so there's no way to use search and/or replace.

I've tried uninstalling Trados, uninstalling Windows updates just in case but to no avail. Any suggestion?

If you've been using a second monitor and have gone back to one, the search dialog window sometimes gets left behind and can't be seen. See my blog post on Studio display to get it back:

If that's not the problem, then try going to Task Manager (right click in the task bar at the bottom of your screen and select "Start Task Manager"/Iniciar el Administrador de Tareas).
Then, under "applications", right click Studio Find&Replace and select "Bring to front" (Traer al frente).

Hi Emma!

Thank you so much for your reply. That was exactly the issue: I use a bigger screen to work at home (but same computer, a laptop), but it was the first time this happened. Holding the windows key + using the arrows solved the issue. I've shared your blog entry on my FB page.
