Why my Trados Studio 2017 treats '400 g' in the source text as a placeable, not just the figure 400? Accordingly, it does not perform Autopropagation. How can I correct this?

Also, for 400g, the EN-RU localisation suggestion is only 400 g rather than 400 г. Can I adjust it?

Could it be that there is a non-breaking space between the "400" and the "g"?

Or, could it be that there is no space between "400" and the "g"?

...localisation suggestion...


Do you mean the machine translation suggestion? Which machine translation system do you use?

Change the TM settings Nov 7, 2019

When the document is open in Studio, click on "Project Settings", Go to "Translation Memory and Automated Translation", click on the TM name and click on "Settings".
Choose "Fields and Settings" on the left pane, and on the right uncheck the "Measurements" checkbox.

This should fix it.

Thank you, I'll try this setting next time. And I'll check whether there is a non-breaking space too - a good idea.
As for localisation, I mean that measure units should be automatically translated with account of the target language rules, right?
