Transit XV: MAC vs. PC files

Does anyone have experience in translating MAC files with Transit XV on PC? I would like to translate a PageMaker file made with MAC with Transit installed on my PC in order to avoid copy pasting. Is this possible? Does this affect the layout (more than usual I mean)?
