The USCIS 8 c.f.r. 103.2(b)(3) states
"Translations. Any document containing foreign language submitted to USCIS shall be accompanied by a full English language translation which the translator has certified as complete and accurate, and by the translator's certification that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign language into English."
According to some of my clients, translations that they completed with other translation companies are being denied by USCIS due to "8 c.f.r. 103.2(b)(3)".
Is there anyone else receiving this information, if so, have have you changed your translation certification, or is there something else that must be done? ▲ Collapse

None of my clients complained about receiving a denial due to my Certified Translations so far, and I haven´t heard that before.
What I´ve heard is that some Notaries are notarizing the translated document instead of the Certificate of Accuracy signed by the translator. Perhaps, that might be one of the reasons of the USCIS´ denial.
