Bonjour à tous

Sur les conseils d'un informaticien rencontré l'année dernière, ainsi que les réactions favorables trouvées sur Internet, j'ai acheté et installé eTrust. J'avais Norton, mais il trouvait pas mal de choses qui n'allaient pas, sans les réparer ou mettre en quarantaine.

Depuis cette installation, (hier donc) bcp de choses ne marchaient plus. Lorsque je surfais, j'obtenais sans cesse "can not save config" et la page que je cherchais à atteindre res... See more

Depuis cette installation, (hier donc) bcp de choses ne marchaient plus. Lorsque je surfais, j'obtenais sans cesse "can not save config" et la page que je cherchais à atteindre restait blanche. Ma boite mail ne marchait plus non plus, et à un certain moment tout mon bureau avait disparu !! J'ai immédiatement fait une restauration système à la veille, mais les problèmes de surf persistent.

Pas tous les sites sont concernés, Proz ne pose pas de problèmes par ex., mais IATE ou le GDT sont inaccessibles.
Quelqu'un a-t-il/elle de l'expérience avec eTrust pour m'indiquer ce que je dois faire ?

Are you talking about eTrust ezAntivirus?

I've never had problems with that program. Did you thoroughly remove all traces of Norton before installing ezAntivirus? If you didn't you should uninstall both programs with Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs, clean the registry if you have the right tools for that, reboot, disable any antispyware program running in the system tray and install eTrust ezAntivirus again.

Are you talking about eTrust ezAntivirus?

I've never had problems with that program. Did you thoroughly remove all traces of Norton before installing ezAntivirus? If you didn't you should uninstall both programs with Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs, clean the registry if you have the right tools for that, reboot, disable any antispyware program running in the system tray and install eTrust ezAntivirus again.

I've uninstalled Norton, and cleaned all entries with "Norton" or "Symantec" from the registry manually (via regedit) ;-(

Apparently I can now make it work but ..... my Incredimail mailbox will still not open.... Démarrer => rechercher only yields a blank window separated in two and there are certainly other things that don't work like they used to...

This is the reason why I hate changing things on my pc... it always mocks up something...
