Dear Colleague,

I received this error message on receiving a Transit Nxt .ppf package.

This is the first time I receive this message. I work with Transit Plugin in Trados 2015/2017 for many years and there are no problems.

In this case many segments in the Transit file were locked. Could this be the reason and can it be fixed?

Here is the error message:

GUID muss 32 Ziffern mit 4 Bindestrichen enthalten

Should be possible to unlock Mar 4, 2020

I don't know whether the problem is caused by locking segments. Best procedure would be to ask the client to unlock the segments.

In case that's not possible, you could open the target language file and have a look for first the character in this string (after the "):

If I'm not mistaken, this character should mark the locking.

Unzip Mar 4, 2020

Unzip the ppf file and open the target language files with an UTF 16-compatible editor.
