I used to work with Trados Workbench 2007. It is very easy to remove / delete a segment ("Translation Unit" in Trados terminology) from the Trados Workbench, through the Concordance function.
Now I want to do the same in Transit NXT: delete/ remove certain segments. Is that possible?
If not, can I make them invisible? Some kind of "Hide" function?

Don't use alignment functions like deleting, merging or splitting segments on projects you need to export! You probably won't be able to export the translated file when you change the number of segments/segment structure.
However, it is safe to empty segments by deleting text or to add text to other segments (original AND target language).
And for language pairs that you only use as reference material without exporting them, using alignment functions is always safe. ... See more

Delete segments: how to do
Feb 9, 2013
Hi Karin,
You cannot really delete segments but you can prevent Transit from displaying them both in the concordance and Fuzzy Match window by resetting their status to Untranslated.
